UG Nutrition Research and Training Centre (NRTC) is an institution of excellence in training and developing networks of interdisciplinary scholars and practitioners. It supports collaborative research for evidence-based policy and practice across the West African sub-region.
The Nutrition Research Training center is a collaboration involving Universities (University of Ghana, McGill University and Iowa State University), Non-Governmental institution (Plan Ghana), and local organizations (Upper Manya-Krobo District Assembly, Chief and Elders of Asesewa).
The center is having a conference from 30th January to March this year with 10 participants from Ghana the host country, Canada, Nigeria, Benin, Burkinafaso and Togo.
